Alyssa was never a very good boom operator. She had never even seen a boom before Roger asked her to join the crew back when they were dating. She does not take her job seriously and finds ways to amuse herself while on set, like blowing smoke in Anthony's face or hitting him with her boom…

Alyssa: "I barely touched you."
Anthony: "John Stamos never blew smoke in my face or hit me with a boom."
Alyssa: "John Stamos isn't a boom operator."
Anthony: "Roger, I can't work on set with these amateurs!"
Roger: "Anthony, just let Alyssa do her job!"
Anthony: "She's a boom operator. How hard is that?"
Alyssa: "Damn hard when you're stoned, Mr. Actor! In fact, just for that, I'm going to hit you again."
